IMMCM is almost there!

British Internet provider Virgin and record label Universal have firstly seen the light that I cast already on september 8 2006, almost three years ago! See also my post on Amie Street. So my thinking was ... three light years ahead ;-)

Now the waiting is until all Internet providers and all record labels have done what Virgin and Universal have done. Also what is still missing is payment per artist based on download statistics.

I hate myself for being too lazy to file for a patent on this...

Interesting variation on my proposed Internet Multi Media Content Model©Baris, A.M.

A potential weakness is that users still pay per song. When you put the song on another site revenue will be lost, because it can be downloaded freely from the other site then.

But this site does have the popularity statistics based on download behaviour: Prices go up when songs rise in the popularity/download poll. Cool site!
